Overview
The NAS-IT Awards is a prestigious national technology and innovation award in Nepal, dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions and advancements made by organizations within the country’s technology landscape.
The winners of the NAS-IT Awards will represent at the prestigious Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards in Brunei in December 2024. The APICTA Awards provide a regional platform for showcasing products and innovations from 17 Asia Pacific countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam, offering unparalleled opportunities for global exposure and networking. This esteemed event allows participants to engage with some of the brightest minds in the industry, exchange ideas, and gain insights into emerging trends and technologies worldwide. Representing Nepal at the APICTA Awards is a significant milestone for the winners, underscoring their contributions to the ICT sector and elevating their presence in the global tech community.

Tertiary Student Project (Undergrad)
ICT projects or research by undergraduate students in higher-learning institutions, with proof of graduation within 1 year of the competition date.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NAS-IT Awards, applicants must meet specific criterias that ensure the integrity and local focus of the competition.
For Companies and Startups
- Company Registration: The entity must be a legally registered organization in Nepal.
- Company Ownership: The company must either be 100% locally owned, or if it is a joint venture with foreign entities, the local entity must hold at least 51% ownership and own the majority of the product’s intellectual property.
- Technology Product: Possess a technological product with a majority of its development done in Nepal.
For Undergraduate/Bachelors Student Project
- Student Status:Any ICT project or research conducted by a student or a group of students who are registered as active undergraduate students in a higher-learning institution, such as a college or university, during the NAS-IT Award competition or within one year of their graduation date by December 2024.
